Torani Variety Pack (Caramel, French Vanilla, Vanilla & Hazelnut)

Torani syrups. From left to right - classic caramel, french vanilla, vanilla, classic hazelnut.

  • Original Syrup Line: Made with pure cane sugar, natural flavors, and filtered water
  • I like this syrup pack because it is a classic coffee syrup set that offers traditional drink versatility. My favorite is hazelnut added to an affogato, but the syrups work well with other coffee drinks like cappuccinos or even to add flavor to an americano.
  • Also comes in a Coffeehouse Variety Pack (Vanilla, Salted Caramel, Classic Hazelnut, Irish Cream) in larger and sampler sizes, Winter Variety Pack (Pumpkin Pie, Peppermint, Salted Caramel & Brown Sugar Cinnamon)
  • Recipes: Peppermint Brewed CoffeePumpkin Pie Cold BrewAmaretto Cappuccino

Torani also has tons of other options. They have sugar-free options sweetened with Splenda. Puremade options that are GMO-free with no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives. And over 150 flavors globally. I prefer the natural or Puremade options because the sugar-free options leave a saccharine taste in my mouth.

DaVinci also has sugar-free keto options, and a large list of specialty options. While the coffee house pack contains the classic samplers you can also hand-select options you think someone may enjoy. My favorites are the cinnamon, the peppermint paddy, the coconut, and, while it may be a bit cliche, the pumpkin pie

Skinny Syrups Syrup trio in its cardboard packaging. From left to right salted caramel, mocha, and vanilla.

Jordan’s Skinny Syrups  provide a great syrup alternative for people who prefer a sugar free option. Outside of the gift collection my favorite is the cinnamon dolce

Amoretti Premium Syrups Classic 3 Pack (French Vanilla, Hazelnut, Caramel)

Amoretti syrups. From left to right French Vanilla, Hazelnut, and Caramel.

Amoretti is a small business based in Southern California that focuses on beverage infusions. They have sugar free options, artisan flavors, and offer sampler pack sizes. They aren’t quite as sweet as some of the other options, which I often prefer. The peppermint, butterscotch, and apple pie are great syrup collection additions.

  • Wäbry Organic Fruit Syrup No Added Sugar (Strawberry, Blueberry & Peach)
  • Recipe: Strawberry Hot Cocoa

Wabry has a variety of fruit syrups that focus on healthier organic ingredients. They have a stevia-based sugar-free option if you prefer that to sucralose. The main drawbacks to Wabry are that they don’t offer as many flavors and frequently sell out. I don’t personally like stevia-based sugar alternatives, and I don’t often use fruit-based syrups in my coffee, but they are a good choice for those looking for that.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do You Refrigerate Coffee Syrup?

Torani Flavored Syrups and Sauces can be stored at room temperature, preferably between 35°F and 85°F. Whether you should refrigerate coffee syrup depends on the type and brand. Most commercial coffee syrups do not require refrigeration and can be stored at room temperature, but you should follow the specific storage recommendations on the label or provided by the manufacturer. Homemade syrups and those with perishable ingredients may benefit from refrigeration, while sugar-free and all-natural syrups may or may not need refrigeration based on their individual instructions. Always check and follow the recommended storage guidelines for the particular syrup you have.

How Long Will Torani Syrup Last After Opening?

The shelf life of opened Torani syrup varies depending on factors like flavor and storage. Typically, if stored in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight, it can last several months to a year. Refrigeration can extend its life. Always check for spoilage signs and adhere to the “Best By” date and storage guidelines on the bottle for best quality as flavors may be muted over time.

How Many Pumps of Syrup Do I Need for Coffee?

The quantity of syrup pumps in coffee depends on factors like cup size, flavor strength, and your taste. For an 8-ounce cup, 1-2 pumps is a common starting point, while larger cups may need more. Begin with a modest amount and adjust for your desired sweetness. If you prefer less sweetness, start with 1 tablespoon and adapt. For a sweeter taste, begin with 2 tablespoons and make any necessary adjustments. Experiment to discover your ideal flavor balance.
